The look you pick works in both modes. It can be your own LUT or one of the app's cameras with the film profile you loaded: switch from video to photo and the color stays the same.

Your LUT becomes a camera.

Import your .cube and it joins the shelf with a name and an icon. Photo and video share the same look.

One recording, two files. Drag the band in the viewfinder to choose what goes into the horizontal one.

From Super 8 to 65 mm.

Super 8 is the strongest, with grain and texture up front. 65 mm is the finest. On CLEAN you keep only the camera color.

Automatic or by hand.

Let the app decide or meter it yourself. ISO, shutter, WB, focus and zoom sit on the strip, one tap away.

Skin tone done right.

If your LUT is heavy on skin, the SKIN slider brings the tone back without breaking the look.

The chemistry, live

A lab used to develop in hours, in the dark. Here the same chemistry runs the instant you point the camera: the film curve, the grain, the glow in the lights. You see it before you record, and what lands in the roll is what you saw.

The chemistry goes into the file right away, like the family Super 8 that came out of the camera ready for the living room wall. When you want latitude, record in Apple Log or ProRes and grade later.
